What Makes Our Preschool Different?

We’re proud to be a true performing arts preschool where dance isn’t just an extra activity, it’s part of our everyday curriculum.

We’re thrilled to welcome our preschoolers into our dance program! Our youngest students can now begin their dance journey early, growing in confidence, coordination, and creativity all while having fun. And the best part? Dance classes are included in your tuition at no additional fee.

Children are introduced to a variety of dance styles, giving them the opportunity to explore movement, express themselves, and develop a strong foundation in the arts. Through music and motion, they gain confidence, body awareness, and a lifelong love of learning.

Our play-based, age-appropriate program is designed to support early childhood development through creativity and movement. We focus on nurturing the whole child encouraging self-expression, building coordination, and fostering joy through purposeful play.

Registration Requirements:

Registration is completed in person, via email, or phone with The Lotus Studio. Parent or legal guardian must have completed paperwork on file: application, financial agreement, medical release, photo release, child immunization record, and custody documents (if applicable).

All registrations are received and reviewed in a first come, first serve basis. Upon filling all open spots, all additional submissions will be added to our waiting list.

Tuition Rates & Policies

We accept both Private Pay and ERDC payments, making quality care accessible for all families.

A $100 nonrefundable application fee is required at enrollment.

Sibling discounts are available for Private Pay accounts. We’d love to share more details and help you find the best option for your family a 2-day minimum applies.

Termination & Cancellation Policy:

We may terminate enrollment for: non-payment or incomplete forms, disregard of policies, unresolved behavior or safety concerns.

Parents or legal guardian must provide a 30-day written notice to withdraw from the program.

Absences, Holidays, and Vacations:

There are no refunds due to absences. Our program will follow the same holiday schedule as the Salem-Keizer school district. The studio will be closed on major holidays. In the event of unsafe conditions or emergencies, we may close without tuition adjustments. If needed, we will switch to a virtual format temporarily.

Late Pick Up:

We ask that your child is picked up within 10 minutes after class has ended. There will be a fee of $2/min if your child is not picked up. If an emergency occurs, please give us a call or text at 503-302-5020. For the safety of your child if you plan to have a person who is not listed on your waiver pick up your child, please try to let us know ahead of time.

Child Safety, Education, and Accountability Policy:

Our organization is committed to providing a safe, professional, and developmentally appropriate environment for all children.

All programs, including preschool, must follow a structured, age-appropriate curriculum that supports learning and development. Staff, coaches, and volunteers are required to meet established screening standards, which include background checks, fingerprinting, and drug testing, in accordance with applicable laws.

Our facility must maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and compliance, including participation in all required state and government inspections.

The privacy of children is strictly protected. Unauthorized photographs or videos of children on staff or coaches’ personal devices are prohibited. Clear policies regarding parental consent and appropriate image use are enforced.

The safety, education, and privacy of every child remain our highest priorities.
