I have been a dancer since age two, and have had the opportunity to explore many different styles of dance such as Ballet, Pointe, Jazz, Contemporary, Modern, Tap, Hip Hop, Acrobatics, Flamenco, and African. I attended Western Oregon University on a dance scholarship where I earned my BS in Exercise Science with minors in both Human Biology and Dance. I have worked for The Lotus Studio for the past 10 years and love what I do.

I’ve been a dancer for 18 years. I performed my first recital at the age two and I’ve since performed and choreographed for numerous recitals and events throughout my life. I performed with the Eugene Ballet Company in “The Nutcracker” for four years, playing roles such as a “Mouse”, an “Angel”, the “Naughty Ladybug”, and a “Party Guest”. My primary focuses are Ballet, Contemporary, Jazz, Hip Hop, Modern, and Tap. However I also do Pointe, Acro, Flamenco, Lyrical, and Theatrical.

I have danced for nine years at The Lotus Studio and have been an instructor for two. I specialize in Hip Hop dance and am exploring choreographing my own pieces. I love to dance because it’s a passion that I put all my free time and effort into, and I have found it truly pays off.

I grew up in Woodburn, OR and began dancing through Danza Huitzilopochtli, a local school focused on the conservation of Aztec Dance. I went on to continue dancing through my High School’s dance team. I began my official ballet training during High School at Willamette Ballet Academy (Woodburn, OR). After graduating High School, I went to Western Oregon University for my BA in Dance, where I began my studies and training in other genres. During my time at WOU, I worked with Rainbow Dance Theatre (Monmouth, OR) and Company Movimiento (Eugene, OR). Now I am a WOU graduate working at The Lotus Studio and Willamette Ballet Academy teaching Ballet, Creative Movement, and Dance Composition.
